Jim is responsible for business development at IT Partners, driving strategic business and sales initiatives that support revenue growth. He works closely with the executive, sales and marketing teams to identify new service opportunities and foster relationships with customers and technology partners.
With an extensive background that spans more than 30 years, Jim has served in multiple executive roles including CEO of Systems Maintenance Services which was sold to Thomas H. Lee Partners; vice president and general manager of Avnet’s Partner Solutions Hewlett-Packard business unit for North America; executive vice president of global sales and marketing for IO, and managing director for Gemma Companies.
Jim’s career includes many successful entrepreneurial ventures. He founded Vector Technology, Inc., a full service IT business solutions provider that became the largest HP reseller/VAR in the southwestern United States, expanding to Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, Minneapolis and Salt Lake City. Jim sold Vector to Expanets, and stayed on as general manager and vice president for two years. His other business endeavors include eTitle.com which was sold to Arizona Automobile Dealers Association.
He holds Bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology and business from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
